General

If you need dental treatment, it’s essential to know when your Colgate dentist is available for appointments so you can plan for work, school, and other activities. The dental team at Lake Five Dentistry works hard to provide the highest quality dental, patient-focused dental care. So, are they open for weekend, evening, or holiday appointments? Keep reading to find out.

Do You Offer Weekend or Evening Appointments?

At Lake Five Dentistry, one of our core values is family. We believe our dental team needs to spend quality time at home with their loved ones to be rested, focused, and engaged when working. That’s why our dental office isn’t open on the weekend, during the evening, or on holidays. This philosophy makes your visit to our dental office more efficient and pleasant.

However, we have an emergency phone line for our patients of record if you need immediate emergency dental treatment, such as getting a permanent tooth knocked out. So, when the unexpected happens, you can count on us.

If you have dental insurance, it may completely cover routine dental exams and cleanings every six months. It might also cover a percentage of the total cost of other dental treatments. However, many patients don’t have dental insurance; at Lake Five Dentistry, we realize that not having dental insurance poses payment difficulties for some patients. So, do we offer any alternatives for payment? Keep reading to learn more.

Alternatives to Dental Insurance

Because we don’t want anyone to forego dental treatment because they don’t have dental insurance, we offer these alternative payment options:

Cash – We accept cash at the time of service.

Personal check – For patients of record, we accept personal checks.

Credit cards – We accept both Mastercard and Visa.

CareCredit – You can apply for no-interest financing through CareCredit and make low monthly payments.

In-house discount plan – We offer a discount on preventive care for our patients without dental insurance. Contact our dental office for details.

Dental Payment Questions in Colgate?

If you have questions about dental insurance or any other payment options we offer, please get in touch with our dental office at (262) 628-0555. At Lake Five Dentistry, we are committed to providing affordable dental care to every patient.

We look forward to your call.

Dental insurance can be confusing and frustrating; between deductibles, co-pays, and maximum out-of-pocket limitations, many patients don’t know which way to turn. Fortunately, at Lake Five Dentistry, we understand insurance terminology and can work to get you the maximum benefits from your dental coverage. Keep reading to learn more.

Do You Accept My Dental Insurance?

At Lake Five Dentistry, we accept most dental insurance except Medicare policies. Depending on your insurance provider, we may be in-network or out-of-network, but our insurance coordinator can check your eligibility when you call to make an appointment.

We can even work with your insurance company to verify your benefits before dental treatment and estimate out-of-pocket costs.

Helping You Make Dental Care Affordable

Often, dental insurance will only cover part of your dental procedures, so we accept cash, checks, and credit cards when paying for your remaining balance. We also offer CareCredit, a financing program that offers no-interest loans with a reasonable monthly payment and an in-house discount plan for our uninsured patients.

For many adults, visiting the dentist can cause stress and anxiety, so it shouldn’t be surprising that children often are scared of what will happen during a dental appointment. At Lake Five Dentistry, we aim to provide gentle, quality dental care to all our patients. So, do we treat kids? Keep reading to learn more.

Scheduling Family Appointments Is Easy

We are happy to provide dental care to both adults and children, and we love experiencing a child’s first dental appointment with their parents. Once your child sees that going to the dentist is something they can do with their parents, they are much less likely to be scared or uncomfortable. When you prioritize dental care from a young age, your child will benefit from healthier teeth and gums and is more likely to continue going to the dentist as an adult.

If your child needs specialized dental care at some point, we would be happy to refer them to a pediatric dentist.

Does Your Child Need a Dental Appointment in Colgate?

If so, the expert dental team at Lake Five Dentistry can help! We want to help your child develop strong oral health habits and keep their teeth for a lifetime. You can contact our dental office at (262) 628-0555 to make an appointment.

When you schedule your dental appointments several months in advance, you may have to cancel an appointment because something else needs your attention. Between work, school, sports, and other activities, it’s difficult to know what lies ahead.

To allow us to schedule other patients in a timely manner, you must let our dental office know as soon as possible if you need to cancel your appointment. So, what is the cancellation policy at Lake Five Dentistry?

What if You Need to Cancel Your Appointment?

We realize certain circumstances, such as illness or work obligations, could make it necessary to cancel a scheduled appointment with our dental office. To allow us time to give your appointment to someone else, we require our patients to cancel their appointment within two business days of their scheduled time.

If you are unable to cancel your appointment within two business days, we have a late cancellation fee of $25 that will be applied to your account.

Questions about Your Dental Appointment?

If something comes up and you need to cancel your appointment, or if you have any questions about our policy, contact us at (262) 628-0555. At Lake Five Dentistry, our goal is to provide quality, patient-centered dental treatment to every patient.

When you visit your Colgate dentist for the first time, you might feel unsure about what to expect when you arrive. At Lake Five Dentistry, we want to give our new patients all the information they need to feel comfortable and at ease when they arrive for their new patient exam. So, if you’re wondering whether we will clean your teeth during your first appointment with us, keep reading to find out.

Your First Dental Appointment at Lake Five Dentistry

When you arrive at our dental office for your new patient exam, we will first check to see if your gums are healthy. If you don’t have any signs of gingivitis, we will professionally clean your teeth during your first visit. Your dental cleaning will remove the plaque and tartar from your teeth, which will help you avoid tooth decay and gum disease.

If we notice evidence of gum disease, we will create a periodontal treatment plan and schedule your cleanings according to that plan.
